Rainbow Chard Charm

Storage: Wrap Rainbow Chard in paper towels and store it in a bag in the refrigerator. Use it within 3 to 5 days.


Sauté Chard Recipe:

Ingredients:

·        1 bunch of rainbow chard, washed

·        2 tablespoons olive oil

·        2 cloves garlic, minced

·        Salt and pepper to taste

·        Optional: a squeeze of lemon juice or a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese

Instructions:

1.      Cut the stems and the leaves into small pieces.

2.      Sauté garlic for about 1 minute.

3.      Add the stems first and sauté for about 3 - 4 minutes. Then, add the leaves and cook for another 3 - 5 minutes.

4.      Season with salt and pepper to taste. Add lemon juice or Parmesan cheese if you prefer.

5.      Serve warm.

Rainbow chard is rich in vitamins A, C, K, and minerals like iron, potassium, and magnesium. Different colored stems contain varied nutrients.
